On June 18th, Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) held an informative meeting for the 20 students selected to represent the university at the upcoming EULiST Student Conference 2025, taking place from June 30th to July 4th in Douai, France.

A total of 20 students attended the session. The session was organized by the EULiST team at URJC with the aim of preparing the selected students for their participation in this international event.

During the meeting, participants received a welcome pack that included a bag with EULiST-branded merchandise and a printed copy of the Proceedings from the first Student Conference held in Vienna in 2024. This document offers a comprehensive overview of last year’s activities, outcomes and student reflections, helping attendees gain deeper insight into what they can expect and how they can contribute this year.

The session covered essential topics such as the structure and objectives of the EULiST alliance, the interdisciplinary and multicultural nature of the Student Conference, travel and accommodation logistics and participant responsibilities. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of active engagement and respectful collaboration.

The event concluded with an open Q&A round, where students had the opportunity to raise questions, clarify doubts and share their thoughts on the experience ahead.

To commemorate the gathering, a group photo was taken with the students in attendance. This image marks the beginning of what promises to be an enriching and inspiring experience for all participants, both academically and personally.
